Services and Fees

$75

Hourly Rate

These one-on-one sessions can be virtual or in person. After an initial consultation to discuss your situation, I’ll provide a quote for your project, to be completed either in one session or over a period of days, weeks, or months.

$275

Half Day

This is ideal for a smaller room, a closet, or a storage space. Together we’ll devise a system that creates a home for every item and I can guide you through how to continue the methodology on your own. I will check in with you at a later date to review.

$475

Full Day

A full day service can cover a large kitchen, a garage, storage shed, or an office. Because my methodology applies to organizing categories of items - books, or dishes, or guitars for example - this can also mean that more than one room is attended to as we find new homes for your things.

Custom Projects

I am flexible and happy to create a proposal unique to your circumstances. You can be assured that I’ll find a way to solve your organization challenges and restore your peace of mind.

Scenarios

New Space, Old Stuff

“After designing and building our home, we discovered that our belongings did not align with the new house we love. Lindsay helped us adapt to our new environment.”

I worked with the homeowner to understand why the architect designed particular features in the new house, took an inventory of their belongings, and learned how they currently use the space. I identified where items could be placed to work best both functionally and aesthetically. And, we discussed ideas for introducing details and furnishings - a comfy chair for reading, new frames for photos, and better lighting, as well as making simple lifestyle changes to create a happy life in the new space.

Life at Home, Work at Home

“I’ve been spending more time at home, trying to work and entertain my kids. Our house was not set up for this. It was a total mess until Lindsay helped us figure out a new system to accommodate this unexpected change.”

Balancing work life and family life life intensity is a recipe for conflict and frustration. I rearranged living and working areas, offering suggestions for new systems of organization and new patterns for space users that complement the new life-work flow. We re-arranged how rooms and furnishings contribute to functional needs and designate a home for every item, so it can easily be found, used and stored.

Revival of a Lived-In Space

“I’ve lived in my home for a long time and established a strong design aesthetic, but my accumulation of art and objects had begun to become cluttered and disorganized. Lindsay curated the jumble of pieces into a coherent and delightful environment.”

After deciding what items could be discarded or donated, we carefully looked at the cherished possessions that remained and developed a plan that not only reduced clutter, but also allowed the rooms to be used more effectively. We identified the best places to display art and objects throughout the property, so they can be enjoyed as part of daily life.
